Hi, I’m Jess! Over my past 5 years teaching, I've had the privilege of guiding more than a hundred students through their individual high school journeys. In my own HSC, I obtained state rank of 2nd in NSW in English Extension 1 and 2nd in NSW in Latin Extension, achieving an ATAR of 99.95 after graduating from Meriden School. I’ve since honed valuable insight into tailoring personalised English tutoring programs to unique student needs and school-specific expectations. Since graduating, I've garnered extensive experience tutoring both privately and for a boutique specialist English tuition firm where I gained insider's knowledge of the HSC syllabus. I've since guided 100+ students to full mark outcomes and top ranks in their cohorts. My student base has included those from schools Pymble Ladies, James Ruse, Baulkham Hills, North Sydney Girls, Sydney Boys, and Meriden.In addition, majoring in English Literature in my undergraduate at University, I’ve honed my pedagogy through tertiary study in order to undeniably set my students apart. In the 5+ years I’ve spent tutoring English before founding Opus, I’ve witnessed firsthand the strengths and shortfalls of many different forms of tutoring. Opus English is the distillation of what I’ve seen works best - we combine firsthand knowledge of how to succeed in English with a rigorously refined pedagogy to help our students reliably attain Band 6 (and even aspire to 95+) HSC English results. It is our mission to impart the tangible and replicable strategies behind our success.

She is very both passionate about English, as well as extremely dedicated to her role as a tutor, always being willing to answer my questions and give feedback, even outside of lessons.
