I am a Head of Department in a Sydney Independent School. I have been a passionate teacher for over 30 years and I have 20 years of HSC marking experience. I have marked the following HSC subjects: Ancient, Modern, Extension and Society and Culture. I am available to tutor in History 7-10, Year 11 and Year 12 HSC Modern, Extension and Society and Culture. I have extensively presented for the Association of Independent Schools, the History Teaching Association and the Society and Culture Association. The key focus of my work is HSC examination technique, study skills, preparation and completion of Major Works (Extension and Society & Culture). I also wrote, presented and filmed one section of the Edrolo online platform for HSC Modern History which is now widely distributed in NSW schools. Online rates are negotiable. Blocks of 30 minutes ($45) to 60 minutes ($80) available. Prefer face to face, but if outside the Inner West/Bankstown area, may be willing to work online.
