Keryn has many year's experience teaching beginners through to advanced students. She teaches 'cello at schools and at home. She also performs with Melbourne Opera and other orchestras, small classical ensembles and as a session musican.

She encourages students to discover the joys that playing a musical instrument can bring, and for each student to develop their natural ability the best they can.
She is an enthusiastic & experienced teacher with students ranging from pre-school beginners to VCE and adults.

Experience

Keryn has been teaching 'cello for many years to students from the young to the mature adult. Past students have gone to study at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University and Monash University.

Qualifications

1) Diploma of Arts in Music (Victorian College of the Arts)
2) Associate Diploma of Music (AMEB)
3) Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary)
4) Kodaly Primary Teacher Training course Level 1.
5) Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessing

Keryn is a member of the Victorian Music Teachers' Association, the Association of Music Educators and is registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
