Hi there! My name is Kevin and I graduated from Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (2017) as dux, with an ATAR of 99.95. I have been tutoring for the past 10 years in both Latin and Chemistry.

I am a junior doctor and academic/lecturer at the University of Melbourne, teaching into the Bachelor of Biomedicine/ Science and Doctor of Medicine.

My aim is to offer structured and practical techniques to help improve unseen translation and poetry analysis.
I teach both the VCE and HSC curriculum, with a wealth of high yield resources to guide students and consolidate learning.

//Unseen Translation
Part of our session will revolve around bolstering key translation skills to ensure a fluent translation of an unseen text. To achieve this, I work systematically through various authors to provide exposure to a range of possible unseens that may present themselves in SACs and exams.

// The Aeneid
A key component of the final year VCE and HSC exam is an in depth understand of Virgil's The Aeneid. I offer a structured approach to provide unique perspectives and insights into Virgil's stylistic and linguistic features.

***CHEMISTRY TUTORING***
Having attained a raw SS of 50 in Chemistry (Premier's Award) as well as a degree in Pharmacology, I have an strong understanding on the needs of the current chemistry study design. Each session is structured around offering deeper understanding of content whilst providing early and broad exposure to exam style questions to ensure students are well prepared for SACs and exams. Session notes, questions and practice SACs/exams are tailored to each student to ensure all the information is digestible and adapted to a student's needs.
