5.0  (1 student review)

I am a recent 2025 graduate from a selective girls high school currently studying law.

I teach the following subjects below * HIGH-SCHOOL ONLY* Y10-Y12

* English Advanced
* English Extension 1
* English Extension 2
* Modern History
* Legal Studies
*Economics
* History Extension ( mildly)

I have a deep love for English, having received a Band 6/ E4 in all English subjects from Advanced English to Extension 2 English. I have many experience communicating with HSC markers for English subjects and know what they’re looking for in application and structure even with the recent rubric change to HSC subjects. For reference, my major-work for Ext 2 English was a creative non-fiction piece, however I am equally capable of aiding in just a creative work, script or discursive.

I aim for all of my English students to achieve Band 6 and internally within the top 10, my record showing this. Consequently, I prioritise not just marks but understanding the construction and application of writing itself, as it’s students who construct in a high-order and sophisticated manner who achieve Band 6s. Thus, I teach all my students these key fundamental techniques along with helping them better apply their issues they wish to argue from their text.

I am also very happy to teach modern history or legal studies. Both subjects are easy to achieve high marks in, with most students instead struggling with properly applying their knowledge in the way the marker wants. Additionally, I constantly am up to date with the most recent legal trends given my study, ensuring that legal arguments are nuanced yet sophisticated at a Band 6 level.

Please call me if you have any inquiries. Please note, I only teach online.
