My approach is centred on making piano learning personal, intuitive, and, most of all, enjoyable. I focus on teaching students how to play by ear, using techniques I use in my everyday playing and that help them understand music from the inside out.
Rather than just following dots on a piece of paper, we dive into the process of hearing music in your mind and translating it directly to the keys. This means developing your musical instincts, whether that’s recognizing chords, building improvisation skills, or playing what you feel.
I tailor every lesson to the student’s goals, so whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced musician, I'll help you unlock your natural musicality at your own pace.

Qualifications

Although I have formal music education, my method is very different from your everyday
conservatory-style piano tuition. I teach by ear, no music sheets, no sight reading. If
you want to learn cool things like jazz, blues, pop or song writing, improvisation,
harmonisation, chords and If you want to learn fast and in a fun environment, I might be the
right teacher for you.
