My name is Margherita and I am an experienced literacy and mathematics specialist with over 20 years of experience in the education system. I have served as a literacy coach, curriculum leader, and consultant across many schools and specialise in supporting students with specific learning disabilities and difficulties; including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ASD, ADHD, and students who present themselves with a learning difficulty without a diagnosis. Every session is meticulously planned and grounded in the Science of Reading/Learning, utilising proven, evidence-based programs. such as: Sounds-Write, UFLI, Word Origins, Heggerty phonemic awareness, Talk for Reading, Talk for Writing, handwriting development, oral language and Mathematics. My mission is to create a supportive environment where your child fosters a sense of belonging, flourish as a learner, uphold success, and build confidence as an independent learner. Working with families is important to me to ensure our partnership is united, positive and strong. I believe in providing a safe and engaging learning environment to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in english and mathematics.

I have more than 4 years of tutoring experience, along with over 20 years of leadership and teaching experience. My tutoring experiences includes: working with students who are struggling with maths and english at school, help them to catch up with skills they have missed and ensuring the right materials, skills and strategies are taught. I have high expectations of myself as a specialist teacher and strive for success in all students; ensuring they feel more confident when faced with academic challenges at school. Every child matters and their education is important to me.
