My name is Marina and I am a passionate and enthusiastic Italian tutor.
I come from Bologna, the birthplace of lasagne and tortellini.

Teaching is my passion and I strongly believe learning a language is a great way to keep your brain active whilst having good fun.

I have been supporting students for 10 years as a tutor and teaching assistant in Italy, Japan and Australia.
During my studies, I helped students from every level and age achieve their academic and language proficiency goals.
I have completed a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature and a MA in Modern Languages and Communication. After graduating from the University of Bologna, I studied towards my Certificate of Continuing Education in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language.
Having studied languages myself, I totally get all the difficulties a student can encounter and the tricks to effectively overcome those difficulties.

- I am able to tutor a single individual or small groups. I can tutor at my place or in a public spot (e.g. a library).
- I can support high school students for IB and HSC.

- I am also available for Online lessons if in need.

- I will prepare the learning material necessary for every lesson.

I am passionate about my beautiful language and culture and eager to pass on my knowledge to new students :)
