Hello, I'm a VCE English, VCE Literature and and VCE VM Literacy teacher with 12 years experience teaching secondary students. As a tutor, I offer personalised tutoring sessions tailored to suit each student's individual learning needs.

My tutoring approach is focused on building confidence and critical thinking skills while also strengthening fundamental grammar and writing skills. I engage students with a range of resources to ensure that each session is both informative and enjoyable.

I aim to complement and extend the learning occurring in the classroom and develop student performance through one-to-one coaching.

My specific skills include developing close reading and analysis skills, teaching essay structure and facilitating exam preparation. I have expertise in teaching a wide range of texts, including novels, plays, poems and films and teaching students with diverse learning needs.

I have a strong understanding of the VCE curriculum and assessment criteria, which allows me to provide targeted support to each of my students.
