NOTE: my schedule has extremely limited openings, but I am happy to provide proofreading and advice on assignments via email, and I do have a waitlist if you're interested.

I am a qualified Maths and English high school teacher, though now I have retired from teaching and tutor exclusively. I enjoy working one on one with students, being able to devote energy to their academic queries and talk them through things in a comfortable, natural way. Whether it's learning through homework, or structuring an assignment, I'm always keen to guide students towards a better frame of mind and the confidence to take on difficult tasks.

I aid in English, Junior Maths and Senior Maths, and can assist with grade 8 to grade 12 in these subject areas, as well as TAFE or STEPS students. My speciality is in helping to structure assignments for any subject and develop time management strategies with students.

I work from my home in order to give students a fresh, relaxed environment to work in. I am also able to help with home schooled or part time students during the day. I generally have 3 sessions available after school, but am willing to negotiate a weekend or later night timetable. I also offer online support, either as part of tutoring commitments or as a separate service.

Rates

$50/hr for one on one sessions.

$45/hr for one in one if I tutor more than one of your kids.

$45/hr per student in group sessions
