Experienced Chemistry, Maths & Academic Skills Tutor (Since 2004)

I offer personalised tutoring and mentoring for both school-aged students and adult learners. Whether you're looking for ongoing support throughout the term, help with a specific problem area, or an intensive school holiday study program, lessons are tailored to your individual goals and learning style.

Since 2004, I have successfully tutored students in:

- Chemistry (Years 7–12 and tertiary support)

- Study skills and academic mentoring

I am a patient and supportive tutor with extensive experience working with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. My approach focuses on identifying the underlying causes of learning difficulties and building confidence through clear explanations, practical examples, discussion, questioning techniques, and targeted practice.

Lessons are typically based around current homework, assignments, tutorial content, or exam preparation, allowing us to quickly identify knowledge gaps and address misunderstood concepts. However, every lesson is flexible and designed around your specific needs.

Senior Chemistry Specialist

I have extensive experience with the current Australian Senior Chemistry curriculum, including assessment preparation for:

- External examinations

Assignment Proofreading & Feedback

I also offer assignment proofreading and editing at $50 per hour. Using Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature, I provide clear suggestions and corrections that can be easily reviewed and incorporated into your work.

$80/hour
$40 extra for extra 30 mins (1.5 hour session)
1 hour recommended for yr 7-10
