The second year of the new study design is almost complete (for all units 1-4). I’m am upskilled, resourced and prepared to teach you what you really need to know.

I have grown in business rapidly and am seeing more and more students thrive in their education and self-confidence.

If you are interested to know, I have just published a new VCE Psychology textbook range with Cambridge International Publications, which will be used in schools around Victoria.

I am also proud to say that my students received study scores in the high 40s and also multiple 50 scores for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, and are on track for 2023. I have had my students receive Premier Awards for VCE Psychology in 2020 and 2021 (both while teaching online). 2022 and 2023 results were phenomenal; all while real easing the new textbook series.

More importantly, I have had students who initially came to me struggling to pass Psychology and end up loving the content and improving their grades immensely! My biggest accomplishment is when my students find their confidence and succeed with passion.

Tutoring Sessions:

Tutoring sessions occur during the school term and break over the holidays, with the option of booking additional sessions during this time. A contract will be emailed on acceptance of the tutoring program, outlining all the key 2024 dates. All sessions are run online.

Due to the high demand for my tutoring sessions, my VCE publication work, my presentations for the new study design (to other teachers) and my senior school role at Haileybury, session times are secured for each week by 2024. It is recommended that preferred times are communicated as early as possible for the best fit.

Payments:

Sessions are paid a term in advance according to online invoices that are emailed weeks before the due date. Furthermore, a contract will be emailed on acceptance of the tutoring program, outlining all the key 2024 information.

Teaching Style:

In regards to my teaching style, I work with each student individually according to their needs and work hard to build a strong student-teacher relationship initially in order to have the trust of the student. A structured plan will be created at the beginning of the term to fit their individual school teaching plan.

I will spend most of the tutoring completing application-based questions in conjunction with immediate feedback. If I assess the student to have gaps in their learning, I will teach those content areas and any other areas they request. I will also be sure to highlight the keywords and types of responses required for high-level VCAA marking.

The immediate feedback is crucial, and I will be sure to give students this online via online forms and documents, activities and discussions to help build the student's confidence and skills in VCE Psychology.

I have extensive teaching experience in both the Independent and Government sectors of education and have also led the teaching and learning in a trauma-informed educational setting. I teach VCE Psychology at Haileybury.

These experiences have helped me as an educator to connect and understand the learning experience for a wide range of students who carry a varied educational experience.

My name is Natasha and I'm a passionate, life-long learner and teacher in the study of Psychology.
I relish the opportunity to walk the learning journey, alongside both students and colleagues, and to see people realise their potential and believe that they can do more than they first thought!

One of the keys to learning, I believe, is the relationship that exists between the learner and the teacher. I have come to understand the importance of individualising and differentiating the learning experience for each person. I love the opportunity to get to know each learner; their passions, interests and to understand why they are on a learning journey. Whether it’s simply to pass a VCE or to attain Doctoral credentials in the field, it’s important to have a common understanding of the goals and to work together, to enable each learner to achieve their best and to help them raise the expectations and limitations that exist from themselves.

Learning is a journey we are all continually walking; regardless of whether we are engaged in a course of study. I have learned this through my own lived experience. It’s not about being perfect or always getting it right, but it’s about setting a goal, making a commitment, developing resilience, and reflecting on the process. It’s through this process that we develop and forge our value system and on my journey, it’s where I’ve understood the values of integrity, humility, and learning to listen to others - these values which help in my connection with other learners.

Outside of the classroom or Zoom chat, you’ll find me spending time outdoors at any chance I can get! I love enjoying food, spending quality time with friends and family and always have a creative project on the go - whether it’s face painting or playing some sport. But my favourite way to live life is adventuring together with my supportive husband and my incredible three children.
