Vision Statement:

Modern Greek is the language of my heritage. It is who I am, and it therefore is an integral quality I hope to imbue in my students. On the other hand, teaching Italian has been a fulfilment of interest and a life long dream. Through interdisciplinary and integrated teaching, I vision to increase awareness and appreciation for the richness and prosperity these languages and cultures entail.

My growing knowledge about this rewarding profession has undoubtedly strengthened my passion for Greek and Italian, the same deeply rooted passion and drive I strive to instill in my students. Through operationalising the best and most engaging pedagogy, I aim to further explore both languages in ways that tap into the curiosity of my young learners to cultivate interest and self-determination to exceed their linguistic proficiencies.

I believe that relationships matter for learning; that they are ultimately the key towards raising language success. I strive to create a new world for language and craft a personal connection with my students, not just as learners, but as people, by incorporating my research and life experiences into the lessons I teach, to open new windows and lower walls in their realm of education.

2011-2015- Successfully completed Tertiary education at The University of Sydney;
*Bachelor of Education (Secondary: Humanities & Social Sciences) / Bachelor of Arts
