Hi! My name is Olivia. I’m a secondary school teacher with experience teaching VCE Legal Studies in Years 11 and 12. I enjoy helping students make sense of complex legal ideas and building their confidence with exam skills and structured writing. Alongside classroom teaching, I also tutor students one-on-one and tailor my approach to suit their individual needs. I’m currently completing my Juris Doctor, which continues to grow my knowledge and passion for law.

Experience

I provided online tutoring three days per week, supporting a student through structured and targeted Legal Studies assistance. My sessions include the use of extensive practice questions, detailed feedback and marking, and carefully developed resources designed to consolidate understanding and exam readiness. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, using a scaffolded approach to build confidence, improve exam technique, and strengthen content mastery over time.

Qualifications

I am a qualified secondary school teacher with experience teaching VCE Legal Studies in Years 11 and 12 in 2024, following specialised study of the subject at university level.

In 2025, I provided one-on-one tutoring to a Year 12 Legal Studies student who achieved a study score of 45.

I am also currently completing my Juris Doctor, which continues to deepen and extend my legal expertise.

Education:
Bachelor of Education Primary and Secondary (Honours) at Monash University - Completed 2023.

Currently in my second year at RMIT completing my Juris Doctor.

3 students: $100/hour total
4 students: $130/hour total
