Whether you're a complete beginner or already have a solid language base, I can help you build on that foundation and begin speaking Spanish confidently and fluently, while enjoying yourself at the same time. Language learning should be fun, not a chore, and so my classes are aimed at just that - to make learning Spanish a pleasurable experience.

Classes focus on the most important elements of learning a language without getting bogged down in unimportant detail. The aim is to get you speaking as much and as soon as possible on all kinds of topics by building a large vocabulary and by practising what we learn. I'll show you how you can progress at the fastest possible speed. Together, we will put together a program which will allow you to advance outside of class time too, with a focus on activities which will help you progress naturally and easily.

Experience

I taught English as a second language in Spain for 30 years and am fluent in Spanish. I also speak French fluently having taught EAL in Marseille for 5 years.
Recently, upon returning to Australia, I have begun offering courses in Spanish for students of all levels.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Open University UK with first class honours. I began my degree at University of N.S.W and then finished my degree in the UK thanks to credit transfer.
I also have the RSA certificate in teaching English as foreign language which I obtained at International House, Madrid.

4-1 $90 per hour
