I’m an experienced former VCAA exam assessor who connects with students, focuses on deep learning, and builds confidence in tackling novel problem types encountered in exams.

I have over 25 years of Senior Physics teaching experience and a signature method that guides motivated students to results such as:

*Over forty students with a 40+ study score. Over ten in the 48+ range.
*Two students with a perfect study score of 50.
*One student who received the Premier's Prize for Physics - awarded to the top five students in the state of Victoria.

Having a teacher who understands the course well and has a gift for sharing their skills and knowledge makes a difference.

I have multi-year experience as a VCAA assessor, where I marked over 5000 exam scripts.

My secret is to methodically train students to achieve 'full marks' on multi-mark questions that most commonly appear in external exams. That way they can be confident you’ve not left marks on the table when it matters most.

I teach online in my Virtual Classroom using the Zoom Whiteboard and screen-sharing of textbooks, worksheets, and real-time physics simulations.

I update my skills and knowledge with the VCE Physics textbooks and Study Designs, and thoroughly review the VCAA exams and examiner reports each year.

I enjoy seeing students grow, and avoid the needless anxiety and overwhelm that can often appear.

Former students have now established pathways in medicine, optometry, aeronautics, information technology, and mechatronics.
