I am passionate about the essence of education and how it can transform a person. From how it carefully moulds the way they understand themselves, their world, and the people around them, to how it empowers them to pursue what is important to them. I believe every student deserves access to learning that is intelligent, fair, and sincerely invested in who they are becoming.

I specialise in English, Psychology, and Health and Physical Education, with learning and study skills embedded throughout my tutoring. My background in psychology and neuroscience informs an individualised approach designed around how each student learns, where their confidence currently sits, and what they are working towards.

I want my students to develop confidence, intellectual independence, clear communication, deep study habits, and a richer understanding of how they learn. These skills are transferrable across subjects and assessments, while helping students develop greater self-knowledge, curiosity, and direction beyond school.

▶ How does tutoring with me work?

Every student I work with receives individualised tutoring from the beginning.

I take time to understand how the student thinks, what they already do well, where they can improve the most, and what they want to achieve. Lessons are then planned and adapted around the individual rather than delivered from a standardised program.

Students receive tailored lessons alongside notes, exercises, resources, and ongoing support between sessions.

Online sessions are delivered through Google Meet. Students also receive a written transcript, lesson notes, and access to a shared collaborative document that we use for planning, accountability, drafting, and working together in real time.

At the beginning of each new tutoring partnership, I spend time understanding five things:

▶ About Me

I am a final-year Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) student at The University of Melbourne with more than five years of tutoring experience, specialising in private tutoring for K-12 and VCE students.

My background in psychology and neuroscience informs the way I teach. Understanding how memory works, how confidence can affect performance, how stress influences a student's ability to think clearly, and how people differ in the way they encode and retrieve information allows me to adapt my teaching to the individual student in front of me.

I hold a Victorian Working with Children Check and tutor throughout the year, including during school holidays.

Rates range from $80 to $150 per hour.

Rates vary depending on the student's age, circumstances, subject, and level of support required.

Places are offered on an annual or term basis. Limited slots for casual lessons are available.

Term-based places are reserved for students seeking consistent, sustained improvement. Consistency gives us the opportunity to build skills progressively rather than approaching each assessment in isolation.

Alongside regular tutoring, I offer additional programs throughout the year, including:
