WHETHER YOU WANT TO GET A HEAD START IN VCE OR IMPROVE YOUR GRADES, I CAN HELP!
A Science/Chemical Engineering (Honours) graduate, I have been tutoring VCE students for eight years in numerous suburbs around Melbourne. I can provide a wealth of textbooks, notes and past exam questions. Armed with this knowledge and past experience, I can help you get into your dream university course.
The teaching profession is a demanding career requiring a special type of person; someone who thoroughly understands the student's needs and is able to communicate concepts in a clear and concise manner. I believe I possess these essential tutoring qualities and love the self satisfaction that comes with helping students of mathematics and science.
I currently work full time as an Associate at PwC. I am available for tutoring both weeknights and weekends.
I graduated from Monash University in 2015 where I achieved First Class Honours in my Science/Chemical Engineering double degree. I majored in Mathematics and Chemistry and have a minor in Physics. I completed the sustainable elective stream in Chemical Engineering.
I graduated high school in 2008 with an ATAR of 97.35, having completed VCE Units 1 - 4 of English, VET Information Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. I was equal dux of my year level in Mathematical Methods, achieving a study score of 44 (raw). As a tutor I specialize in VCE Chemistry, Physics and Mathematical Methods.
The structure of my lessons will revolve around the student and their requirements. Generally tutoring sessions can be conducted in the comfort of your own home however the local library could also be used. Sessions usually last for one hour or two hours with a 15 min break. Not only can I provide help with course material, I can give advice on study skills, time management, course selection and answer other questions that parents and students may have about the VCE.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
