Hi, my name is Ruby, I am currently studying B Laws/ B Medical Science at Macquarie University. I specialise in teaching essay and creative writing skills for preliminary and HSC English, and Essay writing + exam technique for HSC Society and culture, along with Personal Interest Project (PIP) help.

Exam Technique
The HSC Society and Culture exam is unique, as it is only 2 hours long. Society and Culture writing style is difficult to master due to the subject's nature as a social science, meaning it mimics writing styles from both the sciences and humanities. Moreover, it is not a subject where students can memorise essays to regurgitate them in the exam, due to exam questions being highly specific. I am here to help students master exam technique and feel confident constructing strong and cohesive responses in the exam.

PIP Help
Additionally, I have experience in assisting Society and Culture students with their Personal Interest Projects. I am here to help students struggling with starting their PIP's, those who want a second pair of eyes to proofread and edit, or those who feel a bit lost on how to go about a certain section.

English tutoring

-I specialise in year 10 English, preliminary and HSC English Advanced essay writing
-In particular year 10 and 11 students struggling with Shakespeare
-Creative writing for years 10-12, specialising in Module C: The Craft of writing
-One off essay/English assignment help
