Hi! I’m Ru, a high-achieving medical student at Western Sydney University (Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine), and I’m passionate about helping students improve their confidence and results through clear, structured tutoring.

I achieved an ATAR of 98.55 and received Band 6 results in English Advanced, Legal Studies, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2. I also achieved a UCAT score of 3040 and successfully passed my medical interview on my first attempt. I have consistently performed strongly at university and passed my first year with a Distinction.

I began tutoring during Years 11–12 and have continued tutoring for several years, including working with tutoring agencies such as Alchemy. Through this experience, I’ve developed a teaching style that is supportive, patient, and results-focused.

Subjects I tutor:

Mathematics (Years 7–10)
Mathematics Standard (Year 11-12)
Mathematics Advanced / Extension 1 / Extension 2 (Years 11–12)
English (Years 7–12, including English Advanced)
Legal Studies (Years 11–12)
General Science (Years 7–10)
Anatomy Chemistry (Years 7 - 12)

My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I break down difficult concepts into simple steps, teach students how to answer questions effectively, and provide strategies that improve performance in assessments and exams. I can also help with providing study materials, including tailored notes, exam papers, and questions, homework support, essay structure and writing; exam preparation; and building strong study habits.

If you’re looking for a tutor who is approachable, organised and genuinely committed to helping students achieve their best, feel free to reach out — I’d love to help!

Experience

I began tutoring junior mathematics in Years 11–12, supporting students from Years 7–10 to strengthen their core skills and confidence. Since then, I’ve continued tutoring consistently, working with established tutoring agencies including Alchemy, and I have also received offers from well-known agencies such as Matrix Education.

Through this experience, I’ve developed a clear, structured teaching style that helps students understand concepts quickly, improve performance, and feel more confident.
