I'm a biologist turned Maths and ESL teacher who has helped hundreds of students get the ATAR they need to follow their dreams at university. I lived in Spain for 5 years where I first began teaching in classrooms, but soon transitioned to working one on one with struggling students. My down to earth, personable approach makes me an effective teacher for neurodiverse learners and I have extensive training and experience working with students with ADHD, autism, anxiety and depression. Many of my students believed that maths would never be their thing, but have made 180° turnarounds and been able to not only graduate high school and achieve top scores in advanced Maths, but have fun along the way! My Science background also allows me to put mathematics, especially statistics, in a real-world context which makes it both more accessible and interesting. Experience

In my 6 years working one-on-one with students I have helped hundreds of learners not only get their high school certificate with a top ATAR score, but discover a love of Maths and Science that they didn't know they had. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish and have coached European children, teenagers and adults on their ESL journey, with 100% of my students passing their Cambridge exam on the first attempt. I have extensive knowledge of both Queensland and Western Australia curricula in Maths and Biology including exam format and expected answers.
