Hi, I’m Saneer (Sunny) Samanta, former James Ruse Vice Captain and graduate. I have tutored privately and in classes for over seven years helping many reach their Prelim and HSC goals.

Mentor Beyond the Classroom
- As a recent graduate I can understand and empathise with the stresses of being a student. With this knowledge I strive to be more than just a tutor, and instead be a ‘mentor’ whose support extends beyond the classroom. Among many things, I endeavour to boost students' academic confidence, empower them for after high-school success, improve the efficiency of their study and above all be a friend they can trust.

New Syllabus Graduate
- I’m very familiar with the new HSC syllabus changes as I have studied and completed them myself. I have access to heaps of study resources and past papers which I use to help prepare students to perform at their best.

I Specialise in
- Teaching students how to construct high-level, well fleshed-out theses and appropriately structured essays. I believe these two skills are the keys to writing impactful, high-mark essays effortlessly.
- Helping students come up with a gameplan for the short-response section of 2U Paper 1. Together, we come up with specific fallback techniques for each text type to ensure students never get writers block even under time pressure. I also teach the appropriate structure for questions in different mark ranges to ensure no marks slip by.

Of course, while these are my specialties, I am confident that I will be able to help you with whatever you need.
