Hello!

My name is Sarah.

I'm a qualified Queensland teacher and children's book author with over 15 years teaching experience. I've taught in classrooms, online platforms and in tuition centres based in Australia and overseas.

Throughout my career, I've noticed that many struggling students just need a little more time, guidance and encouragement in order to improve. That's where I come in!

For over 15 years I have:

* helped D students achieve As and Bs in subjects they believed they would never master.

* prepared students for the NAPLAN written exam. ( I have marked this test and have an inside understanding of the marking process and what markers are looking for.)

* worked closely with students with ADHD and Autism to develop their literacy and numeracy skills.

* provided tuition for homeschooling families.

* improved the essay, narrative, and assessment writing skills of Primary and High School students.
* boosted the confidence of struggling students who just needed different ways of working in order to connect with school subjects.

My sessions are one hour, online lessons, tailor-made to suit the needs of the student.

Lessons take place on the Zoom platform and all materials are included in the fee. I can assist with:

* Mathematics (Grades 3 through to Grade 8)

* Reading and Comprehension (Prep to Grade 8)

* Grammar, punctuation, sentence and paragraph construction, spelling and writing. (Prep to Grade 8)

* NAPLAN preparation.

* ESL/EALD support and tuition. (Cambridge CELTA and TESOL qualified)

* Homeschool support.

Rates

PRIMARY to YEAR 9 : $55 per hour
YEAR 10 - 12: $60 per hour
