Melbourne tutor in Creative Writing, EAL, English, English Language, English Literature, ESL, Maths, Reading

I am a very experienced teacher, specialising in Primary and Secondary (Years 7-9) English tutoring. I am available some weeknights and Sunday mornings (and during school holiday periods for extra tuition if necessary). I prefer to tutor at local libraries but can tutor at the student's home if suitable. I am skilled at fostering engagement in the writing process and encouraging a love for reading, vocabulary and spelling. No more "writer's block" with me! I am happy to provide a wealth of resources as long as the student has their own writing book and pen/pencils and a positive attitude to work. Due to being a Primary teacher I also enjoy mathematics and the other Primary years subjects. Most importantly, I know every student is different: some may benefit from a few weeks intensive teaching, whereas others like to build a routine over a few months....there really are many options if the student feels they can gain something from the experience and work with a new teacher.
