Melbourne tutor in EAL, English, English Language, ESL, Essay Writing, ISLPR, Reading

I have a BA (Hons), Diploma of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Migrant and Multicultural Education and a TAE (Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.)
My 45 years of teaching experience have covered a variety of settings including high school English, Adult Education in Literacy and English as Another Language, University language support and preparation courses for International Students such as Ellicos. I have also worked with overseas health professionals preparing for their Occupational English Test (OET) and overseas trained teachers needing to do their ISLPR test.

I currently work as a private language tutor in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, English for Academic Purposes (Academic Skills), Oral Presentations, Conversation, Grammar, Pronunciation and ISLPR test preparation.

My students comprise native speakers who want to improve their language skills and/or confidence as well as EAL students who have a fairly advanced level of English but wish to improve and consolidate their skills.

I have always been passionate about teaching and love the contact with adult students from a range of backgrounds. We have a lot of fun and laughs as well as doing some serious work together.

My teaching is not dictated by a set curriculum but rather tailored to each student's individual needs.
