Experience

I have been teaching piano since 2011 in various locations around Brisbane both from my home studios and in music schools. Beginning piano lessons at the age of 7, I went through AMEB exams on piano, clarinet, alto saxophone and theory, achieving Amus (AMEB), Amus with distinction (ACM) and Lmus with distinction (AMEB) on piano. I performed on Channel 10 with Creative Generations Schools Onstage age 17, was the winner of the 2014 Margaret Nixon accompanying prize and went on to complete my Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2015.

I am passionate about seeing others progress musically, offering lessons that are tailored to suit your musical needs. Classes encourage a flexible and supportive learning environment where we work together at your pace to achieve your musical goals.

Whether learning as a hobby or working towards AMEB exams, lessons are comprehensive, covering topics such as healthy playing techniques, reading notation, aural training, sight reading, technical work, and music theory. My goal is to provide you with a well-rounded musical toolkit that you can apply to your future endeavours while encouraging musical enjoyment and the development of effective practice strategies. Students are thoroughly prepared prior to being sent in for exams and my students' results at AMEB exams have largely consisted of High Distinctions and Honours.

My studio is located in Browns Plains with online lessons available as well travel to nearby suburbs considered (incurring a travel fee). Lessons are currently offered on Saturdays.
