I have an extensive experience as a tutor, including as a sessional tutor at RMIT University in the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, teaching Electrical Engineering to 2nd year students. Currently working as an Electronics Engineer, Maths has always been a passion of mine.
As a tutor, I aim to instill a passion for the subject to my students as well. I take innovative approach that helps the students to build a level of basic understanding, while ensuring that their requirement is fulfilled.
I begin the first lesson with an introductory session to get to know the student's capabilities with the subject that he/she has problem with. From then, knowing their requirements, I can then develop an approach that will suit the situation. To ensure that students will gain a good understanding of the concept, I've used tools such as online worksheets, games, books, laptop, and the basic white board. I also use analogy from the student's everyday life to explain difficult concepts, hence helping them to grasp the knowledge much quicker.
I take pride in ensuring that the goals of my students are achieved.
I am available on weekdays after 6pm or weekend on Saturday in the morning.
