Hi! I’m Tung-Hi, a medical student at the University of Queensland. I received nine first-round interviews for direct pathways into medicine, and know the importance of UCAT and Interview preparation.

As a debating coach outside of my tutoring work, I also believe that confidence and the manner of delivery during your interview is equally as important as the content of your answer. Having gone to National competitions for debating/public speaking in both high school and university, I believe that I have the skill set to improve my students’ body language, phrasing, and delivery of their answers.

Experience

In my final year of high school, I started my UCAT prep. I knew that I had less time than others, who had started preparation earlier than me. However, I believe that this pressure gave me a competitive edge: I quickly found ways to study effectively, and consistently applied this to my daily routine. After undergoing more than 150 hours of preparation, taking countless practice tests and testing out multiple UCAT platforms, I can almost guarantee you that the best form of preparation is to have a UCAT tutor guide you. I would say that I am indebted to my UCAT tutor, who passed on to me more than tips and tricks, but study methods that helped me improve.

Qualifications

I have tutored more than 30 students in UCAT and Interview training, with most securing first-preference direct medical acceptance.
