Humorous, fun and sometimes can be little crazy just to make people laugh. I am great at connecting with anyone in particular teenagers. I am approachable and pretty chill at all times, but when it comes to work, I am serious.

Learning should be fun and enjoyable but serious at the same time. I have a reasonably high expectation on myself so I also expect the same for my students in order to learn to take responsibility and have accountability for their learning. I will guide them along the way. Throughout the journey, I also teach students to be resilient and persistent.

I am currently teaching at one of Canberra's high schools.

Experience

I have 15+ years of Maths teaching experience in many different curriculums, ranging from Australian National Curriculum, IB Diploma Program (DP), IB MYP, IGCSE, NSW HSC to ACT BSSS at various levels. I have taught at many different schools including public, private college, private independent schools as well as oversea international school.

I am an expert in almost all areas of Maths. My main experience comes from IB and HSC, where I have taught it up to High Level in IB and Ext 1 in HSC. My most recent teaching experience in high level maths would be the IB Maths Application and Interpretation course in 2021 where one of my students received the highest grade of 7 as well as an IB dux of 45/45.

My other teaching experience is Mandarin where I have taught it for couple of years at various schools.

As well as that, I have also tutored many students for Maths who were failing maths to loving maths, and gained confidence in tackling maths at any level.
