5.0  (1 student review)

I specialise in teaching Maths and English. I have had over 10 students in the past and all have improved their marks, study habits and enjoyment of schoolwork after I became their tutor. Most have also been promoted to a higher stream after I tutored them (e.g. from average math stream to advanced math stream). I scored a 98% final mark in HSC Mathematics and 95% final mark in HSC English.

I want to help others who are struggling to do well in Maths or English and will teach study techniques and tricks to achieving high marks in a subject they may have hated but with my help, I know you'll love Maths and English after seeing the results you'll get.

Experience

I've had ten years of private tutoring experience helping students excel in Maths and English where they may have previously not achieved marks they had desired. I have helped multiple students increase their marks exponentially in the following subjects:

- Primary School Maths
- Maths for students in Years 7 - 10 (all levels)
- General Mathematics for Years 11 and 12

- Primary School English
- High School English (Standard or Advanced)

Qualifications

I have had ten years of experience in helping students excel in Maths, ranging from primary school students to Year 12 students studying for their HSC. My mission is to help students to see their potential and achieve the results they want in Maths. I structure lessons in a professional, ordered, easy to understand manner. I target weak areas to create an all-rounded student. I have the patience and empathy to help students of all academic ability. I am friendly and have well-developed people skills as I hope to make each tutoring session an enjoyable and rich experience.

I also specialise in NAPLAN preparation for year 3, 5, 7 and 9.

I have tutored over 10 students in the past and thus bring a wealth of teaching experience and skill. I have also been paid by my former high school to help tutor high school students with the after school homework centre. I was also a tutor at university. I am confident that your child will greatly improve their marks, study habits and enjoyment of Maths and/or English if I am to be their tutor.
