My name is Corinne and I am a Mechatronics Engineering & Computer Science graduate from Curtin University. I currently work full-time as an engineer, and I enjoy tutoring on my days off. I am a native Japanese and English speaker and I offer tutoring in:
- ATAR level Maths & Japanese
- Lower high school and primary school ESL, maths, science, and HASS
- First and second year university maths, engineering, statistics, and coding help

LESSON
I usually base my lesson around the student's homework and classwork, going over anything the student didn't understand during class, helping with assignments/essays, aiming to ensure the student develops a thorough understanding of the course work. If there is a specific topic a student is struggling with, we can focus on that, and I can provide some extra materials to help the student's understanding.
For ESL students, I offer conversation, grammar, and writing lessons. I can also recommend some English workbooks (excel etc.) which we can go through together on top of the general lesson.
For Japanese lessons, I offer conversation, reading/writing Japanese alphabets (hiragana, katakana, kanji), and reading/writing sentences on top of the general lesson. I can also give you an insight into Japanese culture and tradition to deepen your understanding of the language as well as the country. I would be happy to attempt to answer any question you have that google failed to answer satisfactorily as well!

LOCATION
I am able to travel to Curtin University, Ruth Faulkner Library (Cloverdale), Maylands Library, and Victoria Park Library. I can also travel to your home if you live around the Belmont/South Perth area. If you live outside these areas or would like to meet at another library, let me know so we can organise an alternative meeting spot and/or discuss extra transport costs.

• High School Years 11 and 12 - $75~ /hr
• University Students - $75~ /hr
I offer the first lesson at half the rate so we can see if my teaching style is best fit for the student.
