Gold Coast tutor in French

I'm Louise, 29 and native French.

I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree done in English and French which developed my organisation a lot, an important skill to be able to teach people with different needs. Tutoring made me realize how much I liked to share my love for french langage and culture. I have graduated from a french diploma to officially be a teacher of french as a second langage (DAEFLE) and I am currently studying for my second year of master's for French teaching. I have taught adults and children classes at the Alliance Française of Adelaide for a year, and I am currently teaching at the Alliance Française of Gold Coast for a year now, as well as Alliance Francaise of Brisbane remotely.

I can teach any level of french, from basic to advanced (I currently have students of different levels).
If you are starting French I will focus on self-presentation, basic conversation and basic grammar (present use, basic vocabulary, pronunciation...).
If you are more advanced, I will teach more complex grammar and we'll discuss whatever subject you fancy (news article, movies/tv shows, history, art, celebrities etc...). This way you'll practice speaking and we'll focus on the vocabulary you need.
Any level in between will have oral practice, grammar points, vocabulary and exercises (basically a bit of everything unless you require something specific).
I give material after every lesson to exercise and learn so that you keep practicing outside of our lessons.

I recommend once to twice a week lessons, less wouldn't be as efficient. The best way to learn or improve a new language is to practice.

I teach online using Teams, this make it efficient for both you and me. I share my screen to explain everything so that you can see french written and hear me talk.

Experience

I have taught people from all age groups, my youngest student being 8 and the oldest in her 70s. Some of them were complete beginners, some just wanted conversation classes, others needed to focus on grammar, or study for french exams (French degree at Uni or IB in highschool).
I am currently a French teacher in 2 language schools: Alliance Francaise of Gold Coast and Alliance Francaise of Brisbane. I have taught at Alliance Francaise Adelaide for a year previously.
I am quite flexible and my goal is to make the person in front of me more confident at french, focusing on personal needs.

Qualifications

I graduated with honours from a diploma of french teacher as a second language (DAEFLE).

I also have a bachelor's degree in economics done in French and a master's degree in economics done in French and English.

I am currently studying for my second year of masters of Languages, specified in French teaching.
