Experience

I have been teaching piano, double bass and theory for over 35 years both privately and at schools in Australia, Europe and South Africa. My students have ranged from really young (4) learners to very mature adults (70). I teach beginners to advanced students and help them achieve their individual goals, be it to play just for leisure or to become professional musicians and music teachers in their own right.

Qualifications

BMus [piano and double bass] from the University of Cape Town, South Africa
MMus [double bass] from the Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik, Düsseldorf, Germany
Piano Pedagogy Courses 1-3 at the Gorin Institute
