Graduated from Penleigh and Essendon Grammar in 2020.

I understand that there may be some difficult concepts to grasp in the Year 12 curriculum . However, having experienced how my private school teachers have specifically crafted lessons to cater for every student of every ability, I understand what it takes for students to understand and apply knowledge; an essential skill to succeed in VCE.

As a tutor, it is my goal to make students enthusiastic and galvanised, optimising their chances at achieving a high study score. I look forward to meeting a wide variety of students and to share the knowledge that had enabled me to be successful in my final years of secondary school.

For chemistry and biology, I will have curated booklets that we will be going through. These booklets have been created in a similar format to how my private school teachers have formatted their classes but with extra emphasis on common misconceptions and tips that only a student perspective can provide. I also provide practice SACs for both subjects and for biology specifically, I also have question booklets for each topic that I expect students to complete in their own time and come to class with questions.

I have also been able to pass my MMIs to get into the MD course at UniMelb. With a library of practice stations for ethics, public health and personal questions as well as a separate useful study resource to refer to, I'm well equiped to help you out with familiarising yourself with the interview process.

Experience

2024 will be my 4th year of tutoring. I have accumulated roughly 1000 hours of experience, teaching VCE Chemistry, Biology and Maths Methods.

I understand and acknowledge that each student is unique and thus, require different approaches and different levels of assistance. More importantly, I can cater my lessons specifically for my different students, allowing for a greater understanding and application of the required content.

I also fluently speak Vietnamese.
