Experience

After previously working for a tutoring business and later managing a tutoring charity, I have been an independent private tutor for over 5 years now! Throughout my experience, I am proud to have supported a wide range of students:

•Grade level: I have worked with students between year 1 and year 12, specialising in high school.
•Subjects: I have worked on a wide range of subjects, specialising in English, Legal Studies, junior mathematics, and assessment writing support.
•Unique needs: I have worked with students diagnosed with anxiety, inattentive ADHD, and those on the autism spectrum. I also have experience working with students with a trauma background, having previously managed a tutoring charity for foster youth.

My teaching style focuses on building a strong foundational understanding and then expanding from there. I use national and state learning syllabuses, evidence driven learning techniques, and personal experience to deliver excellent customer service and results. In my lessons I also always try to instill a genuine love of learning/ joy for the subject, critical thinking, self-confidence, and time management skills!

HSC Academic All Rounder Award – band 6 (or equivalent) in all subjects: English Advanced, Legal Studies, Modern History, Extension History, Studies of Religion 1, Mathematics Advanced

USYD Graduate – Bachelor of Arts/ Advanced Studies (Anthropology & International Relations); Distinction average
