With an ATAR of 99.85, I am an experienced tutor specialising in English, Latin and Chemistry. I am able to provide tailored online lessons targeting both Primary and Secondary students. Below I have attached details on my classes.

English: 94/100 HSC Mark
My English course will be targeting students from Years 3-12. For Primary students, my classes will be based on grammar, spelling, punctuation, reading extensive texts for their year group and preparing students for their OC, Selective and Scholarship examinations. These Primary students will practice their reading comprehension and writing skills, including creating a persuasive piece, descriptions, or narrative.

For Secondary students, my classes will be focusing on analysing texts and developing complex responses. Related texts utilised in my classes encapsulate literature from the pre-modern, modern, and post-modern periods. Example texts for my Secondary classes include The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Othello, 1984, King Richard III and more.

I am able to recommend a variety of suitable or extensive texts for students of different ages and capabilities alongside helping check the homework assignments and assessments of students. Through my lessons, students develop their skills in different forms of writing such as a variety of essays, discursive, vignettes, narratives and even more through the writing practice that I offer my students. I am passionate about literature and am dedicated to teaching students the beauty of English. Having accumulated a variety of English knowledge and material over the years, I am determined to pass on my study to any students interested in honing their skills and learning more.

Having completed the English Advanced HSC, I am also able to offer material and advice on Paper 1 Unseen Comprehension alongside Module C, which can be unexpected elements in the HSC. In my private tutoring classes, I am also able to help students with homework and assessment tasks if need be.

Latin Continuers: 96/100 HSC Mark
Latin Extension: 49/50 HSC Mark
As an experienced Latin student, I am able to offer Latin lessons on the Oxford Latin Course, Cambridge Latin Course, National Latin Exam material and other resources. My lessons are targeted at students from Years 7-12, including students who would like to accelerate, and my classes allow students to develop their translating, reading, commentary, cultural knowledge and grammar skills when it comes to Latin. Having taken the Latin Continuers and Latin Extension courses in the HSC, I am able to offer coaching lessons on Virgil (Aeneid IV), Cicero (In Catilinam I), Horace (Satire 1.9) and Juvenal (Satire 1.3). Depending on the needs of the student, I am also able to provide help with exam techniques, especially with regard to extended responses and unseen translations.

Chemistry: 94/100 HSC Mark
As a private tutor for Chemistry, I can provide notes, a variety of questions and mock exam papers mirroring internal school exams and HSC exams for students. My lessons are targeted at students from Years 11-12 alongside any students who would like to accelerate.

I have previously tutored several students on their English, helping them develop their analytical skills, writing insightful essays, providing a list of useful texts to read and facilitating their creation of creative literature such as discursive pieces and vignettes by providing tailored lessons. Students reported that their grades had improved significantly and were determined to continue their English studies in later years. Lessons can encapsulate a variety of texts depending on the year level of students, including Pre-Modern, Modernist and Post-Modernist texts. Moreover, I have developed experience in tutoring larger classes in tutoring centres close to Chatswood and the North Shore areas.

Rates

For Primary school students, the rate is $60 per hour. For high school students, the rate is $80 per hour.
