Private Tutoring via Google Meet with Grace Clee!

I tutor via Google Meet. Students just save the link somewhere convenient, and we use the same link every session. No need to download anything. As for myself I connect my video through my laptop and screenshare my iPad as a whiteboard. All the notes are saved, and I clean them up a little and send them promptly to the student after the session.

Usually, my students send relevant textbook pages/worksheets that they would like extra support with just before the session starts (although earlier is preferred, it’s not a priority) and we just work with that. I also have access to plenty of extra resources if required and happy to share practise questions anytime! I’m also always available to text or email with questions and I’ll endeavour to respond asap with assistance – no charges. Additionally, in future, I am happy to fit in extra planning sessions before tests/assignments to help with study planning and thorough revision!

My rates are $40 per hour, and I charge by weekly invoicing with a flexible payment time. My cancellation policy just asks that if the need to cancel a session does arise prior to the session commencement, and I am notified, there will be no charge. However, if I am not notified and am waiting for the student, I will wait 15 minutes before charging a $15 cancellation fee. Of course, this excludes extenuating circumstances!

I've been tutoring for four years over google meet and in person at a college helping secondary students of all years focusing on mathematics and physics. I am a maths lover who sees the importance of bringing optimism to students who are willing to work hard but need help finding the joy in doing so.

Qualifications

I am studying Pure Mathematics and Computer Science at ANU.

I have a Year 12 Certificate and ATAR 94.75. Majored in Literature, Drama, Mathematical Methods, Religion, Earth and Environmental Science and minored in Japanese.

I have completed up to third year applied mathematics units at UC and second year engineering mathematics at UNSW Canberra.

I have a certificate 3 in animal care.
