Brisbane tutor in Piano

I have an extensive piano/keyboard teaching experience from child to seniors, classical and leisure, beginner to advance level depending on the student goals. I have been also performing for more than 15 years, including Solo and Group performance in different venues across Australia. With my current band we do arrangements of video games music, fusion with jazz, classical and others rhythms and we perform in special events related with all video game world. As a piano teacher I like to adapt any musical program to suit every individuals student's goals and expectations. I encourage my students to learn and strengthen their understanding of of Melody and harmony to develop their own songwriting, also helping to develop their abilities to improvise and enjoy performance with a deep understanding of the piece.

Also as a professional Pianist, I have more than 25 years experience performing as a Soloist and with different bands and different styles, in Australia and overseas.

I love what I do, is a reward to me to see my students achieving their goals, learning from none musical/piano knowledge to the preparation for exams to enrol to the university or conservatory and more (AMEB). For me is very important that every of my students enjoy the learning and practise of the piano and music theory, especially those that are developing this as part of a lifestyle.
Try the first Session as an opportunity to meet, discuss the possible methods and introduce myself. Parents are highly encouraged to attend!!
All ages welcome.
I have availability week days from 10am to 6pm. Also weekends from 11am to 5pm.

Qualifications

My qualifications:
Bachelor in Piano Performance.
Master in Music Therapy.
A.M.E.B. Grades Level to Eight. Classical and Leisure.
Certificate in Learning and Teaching.
In my experience as a teacher I include the most important foundation for learning piano: Classical piano as a great technique practise for any kind of exam including A.M.E.B exams.
