Hi there! My name is Peter and I'm a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Melbourne with a current WAM (average grade) of 82. I have extensive knowledge in the field of mathematics (all levels/units), physics (all levels/units) and biology (Units 1&2).

If you're looking for someone who understands the struggles & stresses of school/uni and require that extra push to get you through, then I believe I can help you. My main focus lies on identifying where any weakness may be, addressing them and then working together to understand whatever topic/concept is causing you difficulties. Good grades are great, but having a solid understanding of the topics you're tackling is needed to be able to then take on those harder questions that may pop up in VCE/Uni exams.

I make my own schedule so I'm pretty flexible with times. I have my own car so travelling to most places around the city should be a breeze. I am also quite happy to do online tutoring if needed! - Secured a grant of $100, 000 from SmartSat CRC to further develop a proposal on bushfire management with my colleagues from the Melbourne Space Program (MSP).
- Currently co-leading the development of a nanosatellite within MSP set to launch into space in 2024.
- Project Lead & Founder of the University of Melbourne's Rocketry team. Currently developing a solid-fuel rocket to participate in Spaceport Cup America in June of 2022 against 100+ student teams.
- Active member of the Aerospace & Rocket Engineering Society at the University of Melbourne

Experience

I have a cumulative experience of around 2 years tutoring Year 8 to Year 12 students in maths (all levels), physics (all levels) and biology (all levels).

Additionally, in 2018, I was part of Haileybury City's afterschool program where I conducted workshops on (basic) rocket physics for a class of around 25 kids (Year 4 to Year 8). I have also been conducting workshops at a tertiary level (2018 - present), with workshops ranging from rocketry to drone making.
