I'm available to tutor throughout the week from 9am till 7pm. I can do regular sessions per week or one-off sessions as well. Preferred method of contact is text (0491086868). I rarely look at the Tutor Finder website. Booking may vary by the way, depending on my existing students at the time. I specialise in English and economics as I am more familiar with the senior high school curriculum for each subject. I do still have the capacity to teach business, legal studies, and modern history. My tutoring style is student led, and I am simply there to help wherever I can (i.e. proofread and mark assignments, outline exam structures, and teach unfamiliar concepts to solidify your understanding).
My rates are as follows:
English: Grades 7-9: $50/hr Grades 10-11: $60/hr Grade 12: $70/hr

Economics:
Grade 10: $60/hr Grade 11: $70/hr Grade 12: $80/hr

Experience

Ive been tutoring since high school.
I provide exam and assignment help and just teach concepts that the student asks. All sessions are student led, and I teach according to what they want to learn during our time. For English and Economics, I also sell an ‘External Exam content loading sheet’ which provides all details of how the exam is laid out and the content that is taught throughout the year.
I also go through old revision questions and questions that have been on my previous exams. I also give students some kind of task to give to me the next lesson to ensure that they fully understand what I’m teaching. I can do one time sessions, or if you want, I can also do consistent lessons.

Qualifications

- Graduated from Brisbane State High School (class of 2021) with an ATAR of 99.15
- Subjects studied: Economics, English, Maths Methods, Modern History, Legal Studies, and Business
- Studying at the University of Queensland - Bachelor of Finance and Economics
- I previously also studied Macroeconomics at UQ before starting university

Rates

$70 per hour for English Students:
- grade 7-9: $50 per hour
- grade 10-11: $60 per hour
- grade 12: $70 per hour

$80 per hour for Economics Students.
- grade 10: $60 per hour
- grade 11: $70 per hour
- grade 12: $80 per hour
