A caring and receptive teacher/tutor who promotes learning and positive approaches through a trusting working relationship with your child. Since all children experience growth to fulfil their potential uniquely, all lessons are planned and conducted according to their specific learning needs.
Private tuition is provided for all Primary-Year 8 students in mainstream subject areas which may encompass Special Education Requirements (Learning Diversity). This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, STAM, ASD and ADHD.
Speech, social and emotional support is also offered to unblock pathways required for a deeper and more meaningful and fulfilling learning experience. Tutoring sessions may support the work of psychologists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists or other professionals students may be engaged with. The main objective is to create a safe and trusting environment so that students feel as comfortable and free-flow as possible.
All students are taught and encouraged to develop independence by growing in self-awareness and learning to identify and resolve barriers which impede their existing learning style. The attitude that learning is rewarding, stimulating and lifelong is fostered throughout.
