As a tutor I am available afternoons and some mornings. I come to your home and all you need to have ready is a workbook to consolidate your learning.
Knowing the curriculum well I can target, access and recognise weaknesses quickly while being able to see the whole child and identify where confidence and positive esteem can be built to further support the learning process. Most people want Literacy or Numeracy development for their child, but I can also offer a more creative approach, applying creative arts to any process of learning and development.
Well trained, I am adept at all areas of primary learning from mathematics to creative writing and story making ability. I am a good tutor because I see the whole child and foster a creative, intuitive and caring approach that is child centred and dynamic. Children grow quickly under my care and tutelage.

I run my own business tutoring primary students in the areas of Maths and English or the arts, wellbeing. I focus on building rapport and confidence to enhance learning, while lifting overall confidence and student engagement. Children enjoy my sessions and grow in confidence and ability very quickly, returning positive results in front of my eyes which can be taken into other areas of life and school.

Qualifications

Masters of Teaching (Primary)
Ba (Communication Studies) University of Western Sydney
Diploma of Meditation and Yoga
Certificate in Fine Arts- TAFE

Rates

$80 per 40 mins (which is a good duration for many school aged children). 30 minute lesson available for younger children also. Will tutor small groups.
