Hi my name is Fabian Fernando, I am a 26yo medical doctor working in Canberra having completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University with a perfect GPA and a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at the Australian National University. During my undergraduate degree I scored a 100th percentile overall on the GAMSAT which included a score of 93 in section 3. I also have 7 years of tutoring experience covering Medical Interviews, the GAMSAT and Mathematics.

I am currently offering GAMSAT tutoring and Medical Interview Training.

For my GAMSAT tutorials I aim to teach techniques of problem solving rather than just rote-learning and depending on theoretical knowledge that not everyone may have. In addition to learning why certain techniques and formulas work so that these problem solving techniques can be applied more broadly. It is also vital that students practice and learn suitable test-taking technique. This way students from both science and non-science background can excel and be more efficient with their study.

I normally suggest 1 hour sessions via zoom for GAMSAT preparation and 2 hour sessions for Medical Interview preparation but have flexibility for different needs.
