Brisbane tutor in Chemistry, EAL, English, English Literature, Maths, Maths Methods, Physics, UCAT

Hi everyone! My name is Ella, and I graduated in 2022 as the Dux of my school with a 99.95 ATAR. I was also Dux of Year 12 English, English and Literature Extension, French and Chemistry (which I studied as an accelerated subject while in Year 11). I achieved a UCAT score in the high 99th percentile of 3390, with a perfect 900 in Verbal Reasoning.

I am studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with Provisional Entry to the Doctor of Medicine at UQ. I have tutored students in a variety of subjects since 2018, including providing additional support to disadvantaged and rural students during the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020-2022.

I take a holistic approach by improving study habits, time management, translatable skills and balance in addition to a targeted and methodical academic focus. I strongly believe that performance correlates with confidence, and as a tutor, I aim to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment to acknowledge and tackle weaknesses.

In 2024 I am not offering private tutoring, but will instead be offering small group masterclasses on internal assessments. These masterclasses will provide a comprehensive breakdown of each assessment item into segments, guiding students to produce structured, precise and concise work. I provide a personalised experience, with opportunities to receive tailored examples and feedback for each student despite the group setting. More details below:
