Hi, I'm Anishka!

I'm a final year medical student at the University of Melbourne and a tutor for primary school students and medical school student hopefuls! After increasing my GAMSAT S2 score from a 59 to a 77 and receiving first round medical school offers from the University of Melbourne, Sydney University and Flinders University, I'm really passionate about helping other students who also want to pursue a career in medicine!

Aside from this, I also offer a private tutoring service for primary school students in English and Science. This may range from reading, creative writing, human biology and building strong study skills. I really enjoy working with children and helping them on their academic journey.

GAMSAT S2 PROGRAM ($50 per session)
We'll start with an introductory session which will give me the opportunity to gauge your skills, strengths and weaknesses. Together, we will build an individualised detailed strategy that works for you.

In subsequent lessons, I will provide you with an outline of exam strategies, study schedules, tips and tricks, review your marked essays (see below) and explore potential essay themes. I will also provide you with resources (my own marked essays, resources and many more) which were instrumental to my S2 success. I will assign homework after each coaching session to ensure that your learning is as efficient as possible.


ESSAY MARKING SERVICE ($20 for the first essay, $15 for subsequent essays) Alongside my GAMSAT S2 Program, I also recommend my essay marking service. I am happy to provide you with essay prompts/ quotes and you can email me your essays once completed. I will annotate your essays in detail in which I will identify which areas you struggle in and excel at and how to further improve your essay writing.


MEDICAL SCHOOL INTERVIEW COACHING - MMI OR PANEL ($50 per session)
I have completed both MMI and panel interviews, receiving multiple first-round medical school offers. We will begin with an introductory session where I will outline the interview format, strategies, online resources and interview tips and tricks.

Subsequent coaching sessions will involve mock interview stations, with each session concentrating on a specific station type. Our next sessions will then specifically focus on the areas that you struggle with, until it becomes a strength. I will give you insight into designing cohesive answers which showcase your skills and achievements. I will also give you access to my personally curated interview theory resources which were instrumental to my own interview success. I will provide detailed feedback on your mock interview answers which will ensure that you are prepared once interview season comes around.


ENGLISH AND SCIENCE TUTORING FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ($40 per session)
As someone who has always loved English and Science, I thoroughly enjoy helping young students solidify and strengthen their understanding in these subjects. I will ensure the best possible learning outcomes for my students by going through both theory and practice questions in each tutoring session. I will check their understanding after introducing new concepts and assign homework at the end of each session to ensure their learning is consistent.
