With over 18 years in the field of education, I have a passion for helping students become better, more efficient learners.

My focus is on empowering students by helping them feel a sense of pride, achievement and overall responsibility in and for their learning. With an emphasis on becoming self-directed in their learning, I help students better organise their thoughts, particularly where reading comprehension or essay writing may be a struggle.

I tutor students in Y7-10, with a focus on in reading and comprehension, essay and anlytical writing skills.
While I used to offer tutoring to my students on a weekly basis, I now offer an intensive holiday workshop instead (due to being a toddler-mum). These workshops suit students who may already have a heavy schedule of extra-curricular activities but find themselves with extra time in the holidays. The workshop runs for three hours and will contain no more than five students at a time.

BA in English Literature: University of York, UK - First Class Honors Degree
Post Graduate Teaching Degree, QTS, NQT: University of Manchester, UK.
Masters of Education: University of Manchester, UK - Distinction
Diploma of Counselling (Ongoing): Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors
