I have been tutoring for more than 7 years now. The biggest motivation for tutoring is that I get to work with students who are genuinely interested in learning and therefore, I can extend their knowledge base and allow them to achieve their full potential. It is different to classroom teaching where the most time-consuming aspect is class management because there are only very few students who are keen on working through the topic while most of the students are there to be physically present.

My areas of expertise are Physics and Mathematics. Having done my PhD in Computation Fluid Dynamics (under Mechanical Engineering), I have an in-depth understanding of theoretical and applied Physics along with the mathematics that goes along with it. Physics is also my area of passion and I can truly answer most queries of secondary student with research-backed responses.

My lessons, in case of new topic, are structured around the proven Gradual Release of Responsibility model that has three major parts - I Do (I introduce and explain the topic via examples), We Do (I work alongside student in working through problems with me leading the way), and You Do (student works through the problems and I am available to resolve challenges).

I have a high-end desktop PC set-up at home with various teaching aids such as video lesson delivery capabilities and using shared digital whiteboards that simulate the experience of learning the topic in a physical classroom.
