I am passionate about accessible and equitable education for all students. I enjoy working with students of all ages, and have extensive experience and qualifications, offering a tailored service for your learning needs. My previous careers include nursing and publishing, and I am on the editorial committee for an education journal that is published quarterly. My focus area is English - and I can assist students with textural analysis, essay writing and film critiques.

Experience

I have been tutoring for 18 years, working mainly with students from private schools in Ballarat and Geelong. Concurrently, I have also been teaching - initially in primary then secondary schools, as well as in adult education. I have taught EAL students, as well as students studying at tertiary level. I also have broad experience working with students studying at TAFE.

Bachelor of Arts: double major - English and Comparative Literature, Women's Studies
Bachelor of Education: Post graduate
Graduate Certificate in Education: TESOL major (Masters' level)
