Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Accounting at the University of South Australia (UniSA). Along with this, I hold a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Accounting with a First Class distinction. My experience in tutoring students has been diverse, having worked with students from Sri Lanka, India, and Maldives.

I am a member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK), a member of Association of Accounting technicians (Sri Lanka) and hands on experience in Accounting and finance for more than 7 years. I have done research publications in different reputed research journals including "A" grade journals.

I have a passion for teaching and I will make sure the learning experience will be fun and enjoyable. I will use special methods and tricks that I developed over 6 years tutoring for High School students, undergraduates and students preparing for professional exams.

Experience

As an experienced teacher, I have been teaching for more than six years to both undergraduate students and those preparing for professional exams. I have taught various subjects related to the B.A International Business and Finance degree program, offered by well reputed organization in Sri Lanka in affiliation with the a recognized university in the Scotland. The main subjects of teaching have been the fundamentals of financial accounting, international financial reporting, advanced corporate financial reporting, and supervising final year research projects.

Additionally, I have taught professional examination courses, such as the Chartered Management Accounting Qualification offered by the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) in the United Kingdom. The subjects for this qualification include fundamentals of financial accounting, financial operations, and financial management. With my diverse teaching experience, I have developed a broad skill set and the ability to connect with students of different backgrounds and interests.
