I am a passionate and experienced registered teacher with a strong academic background in Molecular Biology, Zoology and Science Education. My background in both science and education allows me to teach scientific concepts, theory and practical skills in a clear, detailed and easy-to-understand way.

I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and skills. My approach is student-centred: I first identify each student's strengths, areas for improvement and any gaps in their foundational knowledge, then tailor lessons to address their individual needs.

My goal is to bring out each student's maximum potential, while building their confidence and encouraging them to become more independent learners.

My Tutoring Approach
Lessons are structured and tailored to each student's needs.
For middle school students, I align lessons with the Australian Curriculum (ACARA).
For senior students, I cover the relevant QCAA syllabus content, objectives and assessment requirements.
I use a combination of worksheets, structured notes, practice questions, recommended textbooks and exam-style activities.
I provide support with both theoretical understanding and practical/scientific skills.
Student progress is monitored so that lessons can be adjusted according to their learning needs.

I am a registered Senior Biology and Chemistry teacher with extensive experience supporting students to achieve their academic goals. I have also worked as an external marker for Senior Biology, Chemistry ATAR assessments for several years, giving me valuable insight into assessment expectations and what students need to demonstrate to achieve high marks.

I provide individual and small-group tutoring sessions tailored to each student's learning needs, abilities and goals. I have experience supporting students in classroom, small-group study and home-learning environments.
